MamaMinder Terms of Use Draft

This document is a publication-ready draft for review before App Store / Google Play submission. Replace the final developer legal name, governing law, and effective date before publishing.

1. Acceptance

By using MamaMinder, the user agrees to these Terms of Use. If the user does not agree, they should not use the app.

2. What MamaMinder does

MamaMinder helps parents and caregivers:

• Record baby feeding sessions.
• Record diaper changes.
• View feeding and diaper history.
• View daily summaries and weekly report previews.
• Estimate the next feeding time based on user-entered plans.
• Use optional cloud sync and all included free app features.

MamaMinder is a logging, organization, and reminder tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency monitoring.

Users should follow their clinician's advice and their baby's real-world cues. In urgent situations, users should contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account. Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under their account.

Users can request account and data deletion by emailing [email protected] or by using the in-app “Hesap/veri silme talebi” control when available.

4. Free app access

MamaMinder's launch scope is a completely free app. There is no active Basic/Premium split, paywall, in-app purchase, or subscription requirement for the included baby-care tracking features.

Exact features may change as the app develops, but launch behavior should continue to present included features as free unless a later legal/product review explicitly changes the model.

5. Billing

MamaMinder does not directly collect or store credit card details. The launch MVP does not require subscription cancellation, purchase restoration, or payment setup inside the app.

6. User content

Users are responsible for the information they enter into MamaMinder, including baby profile details, feeding logs, diaper logs, and notes. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Acceptable use

Users must not:

• Use MamaMinder for illegal purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's data without permission.
• Interfere with the app, backend, or security controls.
• Rely on the app as a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency care.

8. Availability

MamaMinder may change, pause, or discontinue features. Cloud sync depends on third-party services such as Supabase.

9. Disclaimers

MamaMinder is provided as a baby-care logging and reminder assistant. It may contain errors, missed reminders, inaccurate estimates, or interruptions. Time estimates and reminders are informational and should not replace parental judgment, clinician guidance, or emergency care.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MamaMinder's developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

11. Termination

Access may be limited or terminated if the user violates these terms or misuses the service.

13. Pre-launch publication checklist

• Replace “Last updated” with the real publication date.
• Insert the final developer legal name.
• Insert governing law / jurisdiction after legal review.
• Publish Terms at https://mamaminder.com/terms.
• Add Terms URL to App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• If monetization is introduced later, complete a separate legal/store review before adding payment, refund, or cancellation copy.
