MamaMinder Privacy Policy Draft

This document is a publication-ready draft for review before App Store / Google Play submission. Replace the final developer legal name and effective date before publishing.

1. Overview

MamaMinder helps parents and caregivers record baby feeding sessions, diaper changes, care notes, and basic care summaries. This Privacy Policy explains what data MamaMinder may collect, why it is used, and how users can control it.

MamaMinder is a logging and reminder assistant. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

2. Data we collect

MamaMinder may store the following information when the user chooses to enter it:

• Account information: name, email address, authentication identifier, and sign-in status.
• Baby profile information: baby name and birth date.
• Feeding records: feeding side/type, start time, end time, duration, and optional notes.
• Diaper records: diaper content, change time, rash flag, and optional notes.
• Sleep records: sleep start time, end time, duration, and optional notes.
• Growth records: weight, height, head circumference, measurement date/time, and optional notes when the user chooses to enter them.
• Plan settings: feeding interval, reminder preferences, and future quiet-hour settings.
• App access status: MamaMinder's launch scope is a free app with all features available.
• Technical metadata: sync status, app version, device/platform information needed for support and reliability.

MamaMinder does not directly collect credit card information. The launch MVP does not process purchases, subscription receipts, or payment-card data.

3. How data is used

Data is used to:

• Show feeding, diaper, sleep, and growth history.
• Show daily summaries, growth previews, and weekly report previews.
• Estimate the next feeding time based on user settings.
• Sync records across devices when cloud sync is enabled.
• Enable app features for signed-in users.
• Help troubleshoot account, sync, data export, and deletion issues.

4. Storage and sync

MamaMinder supports local storage and cloud sync:

• In local/demo mode, data is stored on the user's device.
• In cloud mode, data may be stored in MamaMinder's Supabase backend so the user can sign in and sync records.
• MamaMinder's launch scope is a free app; no subscription receipt processing is required for the MVP.

5. Sharing

MamaMinder does not sell personal data.

Data may be shared only with service providers required to operate the app, such as:

• Supabase for authentication, database, and cloud sync.
• Apple and Google only for normal app distribution platform services.

Future caregiver-sharing features will only share baby/care data with users the account owner explicitly invites.

6. User controls

Users can or should be able to:

• Edit baby profile information.
• Delete feeding, diaper, sleep, and growth records when the relevant controls are available.
• Export app data from the profile screen.
• Sign out of their account.
• Use the app support/data controls for export and deletion requests.
• Request account and data deletion through support.

Account and data deletion requests can be sent to [email protected]. Include the account email address used in MamaMinder so the request can be verified. The app also includes an in-app “Hesap/veri silme talebi” control that prepares this support request.

7. Children and sensitive data

MamaMinder stores baby-related care and growth logs entered by a parent or caregiver. The app is intended for adults managing baby care. It is not intended for children to create accounts or use independently.

Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive medical information into optional notes.

8. Security

MamaMinder should use appropriate technical safeguards, including encrypted transport, authenticated cloud access, and Row Level Security policies in the backend.

No system can guarantee perfect security. Users should keep their account credentials private and export/store their data carefully.

9. International users

Users in Turkey and other supported countries can download and use the included launch features for free. If monetization is introduced later, payment processing and privacy disclosures should be reviewed separately before release.

11. Pre-launch publication checklist

• Replace “Last updated” with the real publication date.
• Insert the final developer legal name.
• Publish this policy at https://mamaminder.com/privacy.
• Add the URL to App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Confirm Supabase data-processing terms before enabling production cloud services.
• Re-check the store privacy forms after analytics or crash reporting SDKs are added.
